"It's A GREAT MOMENT when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time."

What this quote is trying to state is that, when you step up and say what you think you are choosing what is right and what you believe in. When you have good character all you think of is success. You think of success because you believe that you could become a successful persons and you'll make others proud. But the most important thing is when you step up for yourself or others. This is important because people need to know what you believe is right. For example, if you see someone getting bullied then you need to step up and do something about it. You need to step up because its the right thing to do because if you don't stand up then who will? Another example is when you see someone cheating on a test you have to do something about it because it is not fair to the class and others. Standing up for someone or yourself take a lot of courage but that build up your future and you'll be proud of everything later on in life. 

Speech Pathologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Speech-language pathologists working in schools may meet regularly with individual students or groups of students. Speech-language pathologist (sometimes called speech therapy) access, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients. Speech, language, and swallowing disorders result from a variety of causes such as a stroke, brain injury, hearing loss, developmental delay, Parkinson's disease, a cleft palate or autism.      

Salary: $73,410 per year and $35.29 per hour 

Education: Master's degree, and they must be licensed in most states; requirements vary by state. 

Demand for this profession: Analytical skill, communication skill, compassion, critical thinking skills, detail oriented, and listening skills. 

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? 

I think that I would kind of want to be one. I think I would kind of like to be one because when I grow up I want to be a therapist but I don't know what kind yet. Speech Pathologist seems interesting because you work with any type of aged adults, kids etc. I would also like to be one because I love helping people out and mostly little kids because they are our future and its important for them to talk.

What this statement is trying to state is that, if he says that he will keep his word then he will. No matter if death is involved in this he won't open his mouth at all. He will keep it with him until death does him apart. When you give your word oh honor it means that, you will not tell anyone about it even if they punish you. You are giving your word and you should know that, that could be a promise. Giving your word of honor is similar to a promise. They are similar because keeping a promise means keeping to yourself and also does "word of honor" means that you will keep it to your self or you will stay true to it. For example if you say I give my word of honor to be on school on time then you have to be to school on time because you have gave your word to someone that you will be there. Another example is if you tell someone I give you my word of honor that I won't tell anyone your secret then you shall keep that honor of word. 

Medical Scientist

Duties and Responsibilities: Medical Science usually specialize in an area of research, such as neuroscience. Medical scientist conduct research aimed at improving overall human health. They often use clinical trials and other investigative methods to research their findings. Medical scientist work in a laboratories or offices. Some medical scientists work full time jobs.  

Salary: $82,240 per year and $39.54 per hour

Education: Ph.D, medical degree, doctoral degree, and professional degree. 

Demand for this profession: Communication skills, critical thinking skills, data analysis skills, decision-making skills, and observation skills.

I believe that I would like to become one. I would like to become one because I am interested in the medical field. I would also like to become one because I like science and I like learning new things everyday that are interesting. Medical science interest me because it has to do with improving a humans health and I like helping people and curing them.

The 10 Indian Commandments

1. Treat the Earth and all that dwells therein with respect.

2. Remain close to the Great Spirit.

3. Show great respect to your fellow beings. 

4. Work together for the benefit of all mankind. 

5. Give assistance and kindness wherever needed. 

6. Do what you know to be right.

7. Look after the well-being of mind and body.

8. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.
9. Be truthful and honest at all times. 

10. Take full responsibility for your actions. 

What these commandments truly mean is that you have to be honest with yourself and others as well. Every commandment means to choose the right and be honest. These commandments were important to the Native Americans because they always stayed true to themselves and others that are around. They are like the 10 commandments in the bible. What they all try to say is to never lie because that is wrong. You have to treat everything and everyone with respect. You have to follow the commandments because they were mandatory to the Native Americans. They always chose the right things that they knew were going to make the earth so much better. These 10 commandments made the world better because if there wasn't any commandments then what would be the world? People that are religious believe in all the commandments that are out there. They believe in them because they see the importance in them. They know that the commandments will make the world better and people too. People change upon the commandments because they know they could be a better person. That is why the Native Americans never took these commandments for granted. 

Reflexology

Duties and Responsibilities: Is a therapy base on a belief that certain areas of the feet, known as reflexes, are join to parts of the body by "energy pathway." Reflexologists apply pressure to these points which is believed to help the bodies natural balance of energy, and healing process. 

Salary: $39,760 per year and $25 - $75 per hour

Education: Certificate, associates degree, massage therapy, reflexology, most states require a licence or certification for massage therapist, and 500 massage therapy education may be required for state licensure and by some employers 

Demand for this profession:   communication and decision making skills, physical stamina, strength and dexterity, empathy to proved positive experience, and ability to perform quality 60 - and 90 - minute massage session 

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? 

I think that I wouldn't like to be one because I get really disgusted when other people are bare foot and they put their foot near me. I wouldn't also like to be one because you have to last at least 60 - 90 minutes of giving a massage and probably your hands will get wrinkly and all soft.
