What this is trying to say is that if you want to be successful and not do bad things then you have to learn how to say no. You have to learn how to say no to bad things that people offer you to do. For example if someone offers you to smoke you have to say no because smoking is bad and you have to be courageous enough to say no to them. You have to do what you think is the best for you not for others. If you don't think smoking is good then don't do it and choose what is right. Your the only one who could make decisions for themselves and that is it. No one can force you to do anything! Just say no to bad things that you don't think that are going to make your life better. You have to be brave for yourself and your future. Your future is depending on your actions and how you think. If you smoke and do all bad things you aren't going to get no where in life because you are choosing what is wrong for you. You need to do good, you need to make good decisions that you will be proud of when you think about how far you have gotten .

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and responsibilities: A librarian is a person who chooses, obtains sorts, categorizes, circulates, and maintains various library materials. Salary: $45,000 - $49,000

Education: a student must graduate from high school, taking classes such as English, math, typing, and science. A four year bachelor’s degree is then required, including courses such as science and computer science. A master’s degree in library science (MLS) is mandatory. Courses include scientific literature, bio medical, communication, bibliographic resource use, library organization and management, and standard cataloging systems. While health science librarians are not required to be certified, the Medical Library Association does offer certification examinations which would help a librarian advance to a higher position.

Reflection: I would not like to be one. I wouldn’t like to be one because all you have to do is organize books. It seems fun because you get to help people but most of the time all you’re going to have to do is organize the shelf's and put the books where they belong. It seems exciting but it doesn’t catch my attention.

Reflection: What this means is that if you choose to do correct things then you will be successful and be someone in life. If you choose to be a fool and drink and do drugs you aren't choosing what is right because that doesn't give you a future, you don't get nothing out of doing drugs or alcohol. If you choose the wrong at the end of the day you are just going to be destroyed because you are not going to know what to do. Your going to be lost and get frustrated because you chose not to be wise and just make a fool out of yourself. That is why you have to choose what you think is right for you. It doesn't matter what other people think of you. You shouldn't follow other peoples steps just because they are doing it. The only steps you should be following are your own, your wise choices only not the bad ones. You want to have a future not a bad life. Don't do anything that you know that is not right and that won't get you anywhere in life. always do what you think that is best for you and only you! You are the only person who gets to decide their future and you shouldn't care what others think. The only thing that matters are your thoughts and actions. 

Veterans Day

Veterans Day

1)        What is Veterans Day? Veterans Day is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War 1 to honor US veterans and victims of all wars.

2)        What is the purpose of Veterans Day? The purpose of Veterans Day is a holiday dedicated to American Veterans of all war.

3)        Why is it important to show honor on Veterans Day? It is important to show honor because we have to honor the Military guys who were brave enough to go out there and fight.

4)        When is it? Veterans day is on November 11

5)        What are few ways to show honor and respect on Veterans Day? Say thank you when you see a soldier or a guy that is in the military, send a letter, etc.….

7)        We all thank the Veterans on this day. We show respect and honor to those who made it and to those who didn’t. All people around the word are grateful with what the military does for us and everyone around.

8)        Reflection: I think that Veterans Day is important because we have to honor the people that fight for what is right. We have to show respect and show love for them. Be grateful for those who try their best just to have freedom and all the things we have. You could do a lot of things to honor the Veterans you could say thank you, you could write letters, always remember them on those special days. We should all be thankful because they go out to war and sometimes they have to leave their families behind for years or months. Say Thank You to them if you ever see a soldier. Always be grateful with what people do for you

"The best recreation is to do good."

What this statement is trying to explain is that you might go to do something recreational but the most important thing as that you do good for yourself and pick good choices. For example if you work hard and try your best at everything then you are making a good recreation out of yourself. But if you choose to do something that is not good then you are not making a good recreation out of yourself. Its not always about nature so you could be recreational it could also be about yourself. You are trying to make a better person or human out of yourself because you want to be successful all the time. Do good things that others could do too or they could admire. If you do a good recreation out of yourself everyone will know about it and will be proud of what you did. If you do something that is not recreational people won't like it they would hate it and would try to do something about it. Do your best for yourself and those who you love because you never know if they just want to be like you.

What this means to me is that even if everyone wants something that is forbidden its still going to be wrong because it is a rule and it can not be changed. For example if everyone wants to use their phone in class they can't because its a rule and its wrong to use your phones in class its rude because you won't even pay attention to the teacher.For example if  you say that you don't want to chew gum then its right because its a rule that everyone requires. There is always going to be rules in life and some people might not agree with it but nothing can be done because the rules are not going to change just for you and other people. If everyone is against it then nothing could happen. If people want to do something wrong and they are for it, its still going to be the same no matter what.

What this means to me is that, it is better to have a good name than money or cars etc.... If you have a good name then that is all you really need. If you have a good name and a good job then you will be rich because having a good name is more important than anything in the world. If you choose the right and do things correctly then you will have a good name. Having a good name means a lot to people and some don't really care because they do whatever they feel like doing. If you choose to do things that are not correct then you will have a bad name and you want to have a good name! That's why you should help people out and be kind to each other. Every little thing revolves around you and your actions. You will get rich because of your name and what you are doing to get the name that you have. Your job is not always based on being rich its based on what you do and what you choose if its either the right or wrong. For example for a guy that works hard and helps others is going to have a good name. Finally for example if you choose not to work and not help people then you won't have a good name .
