Physicians and Surgeons 

Duties and responsibilities: Physicians and Surgeons diagnose and treat illnesses or injuries.  Physicians examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. They counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare. Surgeons operate on patients to treat injuries, such as broken bones; diseases, such as cancerous tumors; and deformities, such as cleft palates.

Salary: Greater than, $187,200 per year and $90.00 an hour

Education: Physicians and surgeons have demanding education and training requirements. Almost all physicians complete at least 4 years of undergraduate school, 4 years of medical school, and, depending on their specialty, 3 to 7 years in internship and residency programs.

Demand for this career: Employment of physicians and surgeons is projected to grow 14 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations. Job growth is projected due to increased demand for healthcare services by the growing and aging population.

Reflection: I think that I would like to be one. I would like to be one because, I like helping people and making them feel better. You get to study new things everyday, you really never finish school when you are in the medical career. That is why I choose to be a physician and surgeon.

What this quote is trying to state is that, no matter what you should always tell the truth. What people see in you is the trust and the honesty that you have. Especially what they look for is your character.For example,  Abraham Lincoln walked six miles just to pay a debt he had with a young lady. He was always truthful and was always responsible. No matter what he had to do or how far it was he always managed to deal with what he owed. You have to stand with people who choose the right. If some guy or girl you hang out with chooses the wrong then you could make her realize the bad things about that decision and try to make her understand what to do so she could go the right direction. Another example is who would walk six miles just to pay a debt that they have? no one would because they would think its far, but Abraham Lincoln did that he stayed truthful and did what he had to do so he would be in the right path. Always choose the right and be true and you will be a winner no matter what.

Rihanna 

Something that fascinates me the most would have to be Rihanna. Her actual name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty. She’s having her anti world tour already. Her most recent album that came out was Anti. It was released on January 28. She’s coming here on May 3rd and May 4th. Rihanna is 28 years old. She was born in February 20,1988. Her career began in 2003, She was discovered in her home country, which is Barbados, by an American record producer Evan Rogers. Her first album release was in 2005 and is known for her songs “Umbrella,” Pon de Replay,” “SOS” and “Disturbia.” Her labels would be Def Jam, Roc Nation, SRP, and Westbury Road. Rihanna motivates people with her music but sometimes her music can be really depressing. Some people see her as her role model because they have never seen her break down or have any problems with anybody. She is beautiful in and out because she always makes the best out of everything she doesn't let people bring her down with the words they say. She lets other people sing in her concerts and her face expressions are just the best because she thinks that they sing so nice. She helps out a lot of kids with disabilities and she goes back stage just to see them and give them advise. Sometimes she dedicates her concerts to some kids or adults that have disabilities or if they are not okay.

This quote is correct. Being a nice person matters the most. You can be mean and smart but nobody will like you. Nobody is going to look up to you. An example of this can be Hitler. He was a smart man but had to terrible things to mankind. He had took down so many people. He was smart, but did not have a great character. So no one liked him everyone wanted him gone. This why you need to be and act like a good character because that is all people look for.

Mental Health Counselor

Duties and Responsibilities: Mental health counselors help people manage or overcome mental and emotional disorders and problems with their family or relationships. They listen to clients and ask questions to help the clients understand their problems and strategies to improve their lives.  

Salary: $42,250 per years and $20.31 per hour

Education: master’s degree, bachelor’s degree, and clinical mental health counseling.

Demand for this profession: Employment of mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists is projected to grow 19 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations. Growth is expected in both occupations as more people have mental health counseling services covered by their insurance policies.

Reflection: I think that I would like to be one because it's related to being a therapist.

"I trust that my hard work will pay off."

What this quote means is that all the hard work you have done will pay off someway. Good work will eventually turn into good rewards. This has a lot to do with choosing what is right. When you choose to do the right things you will be rewarded. But if you decide to choose to do something wrong, then there won’t be any rewards to that. Mostly punishments will come if you get caught choosing to do wrong. An example of this quote is Tyler Haws. Tyler Haws tried hard to get better in basketball, and he did. Another example is when someone doesn’t do their work. This person is choosing the wrong. They are not putting effort into their goals and will be unsuccessful. Choosing to do what’s right is best for you and for everyone else.

“True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”

What this statement is trying to say is that, your future and what you think you have ahead of you could only be done if you always choose what’s right. Even if you do it alone you know that you will make it. For example, if you’re going to college but you don't know anybody and you think that hanging out with a group of people who drink is better it's wrong because you are not choosing the right and you are not going to have independence and freedom. Independence and freedom can only exist if you choose what’s right because your decisions will always affect your future or anything that you do that is bad will affect your future. For example, if you choose to stay alone and only have 2 friends in college and they don’t try to put you in drugs or into drinking then that is choosing the right and you have a future ahead of you.
