Athletic Trainer
Duties and responsibilities: An athletic trainer is a
certified health care professional who practices in the field of sports
medicine. Athletic training has been recognizing by the American Medical
Association as an allied health care professional since 1990. Athletic trainer
is also a health professional who collaborates with the physicians to optimize
activity and participation of patients and clients.
Salary: $30,420 - $54,880
Education: Graduate from bachelors or master’s degree
program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athlete Training
Education
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why
not?
I would like
to become one because I love sports. Another thing is because you learn new
ways to help people out when they are injured. You probably get to travel
around if you work for a team that travels all around and I love traveling but
in car not in airplane.
