Class Evaluation

1. The things that I liked about the class were that, everyday we learned something new and sometimes we would share out our information. 
2. One thing that I didn't like about this class was that, some people were really rude. 
3. Some recommendations for improving the class is less typing tutorials and S.S.S
4. A highlight for me in this class was that I got to learn more about computers and other stuff.
5. I think that I really did my best in this class because I always kept an A.
6. Yes I am reading my life planning journal because I actually want to accomplish the goals I put for myself everyday. 
7. I am committed to being a ctr person because that is based upon our future. 
8. What I learned is that choosing the right will always be the number one answer to everything.
9. What i will always remember about this class are the laughs that we had and all the things we learned.

What this quote is trying to say is that, when you choose the right there will always be great stuff for you out there. By choosing the right it makes your future better and better everyday. Choosing the right will lead you to getting a good career and future. What do you get from choosing the wrong? nothing you just get negative consequences that lead you to not having a great future. For example if you set a goal to have all A's in school you have to choose the right so you could make that goal happen. Another example is when people offer you drugs you have to choose the right and say no because that won't help you in any way! By choosing the right you will make your parents proud and others around. People will look up to you and will just want to be like you. Choosing the right will lead you to being happy with life and yourself. Choosing the right will make you prove people wrong, people who told you that you wouldn't make it. That is why its always important to choose the right and not the wrong.

What this statement is trying to state is that, your future and decisions will always depend upon the things you choose for. By choosing the right it means that, you make good choices and not fool around. By choosing the right is focusing in school and not letting anything come between you and school. For example, high school gets harder and harder every year and lets say your friends tell you to ditch you have to choose the right which is by saying no! Another example is when you see someone cheating you have to do what is right because its not fair for you and others as well. By choosing the right you are creating a better future not only for yourself but for the ones you love too. You will make your parents, siblings, etc. happy when they see you succeed later on in life. That is why always make wise choices and never make bad choices because it could end up really bad for you and others as well. CTR!

Overall what this is trying to say is that, character is all that matters. Character is all that matters because character is beauty. All people look for now in days is a beautiful character. Family and friends also look for that because that is what creates a good relationship. For example when you go out with your family and you guys do not disrespect each other that shows a beautiful character of your family and yourself. There will be peace in the world once everyone knows the true value of a beautiful character. Another example is when you give good compliments out to people who are always thinking negative about themselves. Having a beautiful character consist of just not caring about yourself but others too. Beautiful character is the key to success because that's all people look for. Teachers, parents, siblings etc... is what they look for. Schools look for that too colleges look for that too they just don't see your grades. Always have a good character and always choose the right path not the wrong path. 

Current Health-Related Event or Issue

Zika Birth Defects 

Doctors and Scientist have identify the cause and the defects that could happen if you have the Zika virus. If the baby is affected by the virus the baby will be born with an abnormally small head, and a condition called microcephaly which also develops as a result in an underdeveloped brain. The baby could be underweight for the babies age. If this happens what the doctors usually have to do is perform a cesarean section. The first baby that was born with the virus was born in Northeast. This virus comes from mosquito bites. A new baby was born in Hawaii with the microcephaly disease. Doctors have been recommending that women should wait at least eight weeks to get pregnant. The vast majority of Zika infections have occurred in Latin America, with Brazil the hot zone with an estimate of 5,000 cases of the microcephaly disease. There hasn't been any report about the Zika virus in the U.S. But U.S. health officials believe that they expect to see the Zika virus happen in the Gulf Coast states such as, Florida, Louisianan, and Texas as mosquito season picks up. Finally if the male has been having symptoms of  the Zika infection couple should wait at least six months to plan a baby. So far, an estimated 280 infected women are being followed in the United States and its territories, according to two registries that have been created by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 

Reflection: How does this event or issue relate to you? 

This event or issue relates to not only me but every guy and girl. This relates to everyone because you really never know when you'll have a baby. Even though if you are not pregnant you could still get it. But the majority are pregnant women who don't even know what's going on. Especially that its getting hot mosquito's start to come out in the hot well during the summer. This is why everyone should be aware of where they are or what bites them.  

Honor and Cheating

Summary 

Malik Stewart knew what he was doing when he shook the opponents dad hand and hugged him. Malik didn't care if he lost the championship he still stood up with honor he was okay with losing because he knew what the guy was going through. Malik knew how it felt to feel like you are going to lose your dad and you want to make him proud. He had a lot of respect for his opponent and the dad. On the other side Roman Chapa cheated all he wanted to do is win. Winning is not always going to make you successful especially if you cheat. What Roman did was cruel and not okay. He cheated so he could just win and he was hurting the horse. He was just thinking about himself and not others especially not about the horse. Roman was not honest because he cheated and he had negative consequences because he hurt a horse and that is considered animal cruelty. Malik could be a role model for kids who think that losing is a big deal because look how Roman ended up with his life just because he cheated!

What this statement is trying to state is that, they rather just lose than cheat. For example if you are doing a test and you do not know what its about and you have the chance to cheat but you don't cheat because you think its wrong then you are failing with honor. Its better to fail than to cheat because then you won't feel guilty or have any bad thoughts of what you did. Its always the best to be honest with things and people. All people look for now in days is honest and no cheating. You just have to be yourself and be honest with yourself and others. Its better to admit that you don't know anything than to cheat! What do you get out of cheating? NOTHING, nothing is what you get out of cheating. Another example is a sport you could cheat by buying the ref or by doing things to the opposing team. Cheating is never right because if you get caught there will be negative consequences. When people get caught cheating they will never be trusted ever again they will lose the trust and be won't trust them at all. Its okay to fail with honor then cheat. Never cheat in your life that is choosing the wrong, always choose the right.
