What this quote means is that, you should never break a promise that you did or that you are going to do. For example if you tell your friends that you promise to show up for practice this time you should not break that promise because they are trusting you. Sometimes when you break a promise people start to not trust you and they start not to believe you anymore. Sometimes people think that you are lying because you already broke a promise so they will not believe you. A bad example is if you say I promise that I'll be there after school to finish my essay but you do not show up and you just wasted the teachers time because you said you were gonna be there. You should never make a promise that you cannot keep. If you know you are lying about that promise then you shouldn't say "I promise". If you are not sure that you cannot make it then you must say that you will try to be there but do not make a promise if you are not positive about it yet. Always stay true to yourself and others too if you still want their trust. 

Registered Nurse 

Duties and Responsibilities: Registered Nurses teach patients how to manage their illness or injury. They provide and coordinate patients care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advise and emotional to patients and their family members. 

Salary: $67,490 per year and $32.44 per hour 

Education: Registered nurses usually take one of the three education paths: a Bachelors of science degree in nursing (BSN), an associates degree in nursing (ADN), or a diploma from an approved nursing program. Registered nurses must be licensed.  

Demand for this profession: Critical thinking skills, Communication skills, Compassion, Detail oriented, Emotional stability, Organizational skills, and Physical stamina.

I think that I would like to be one because you are helping others. You are making them feel more better about themselves. You get them motivated so they could have energy. You give them advise so they could realize things that they do not know.

I agree with this quote. Doing good things do last forever. When you do bad things, it can fail. For example, you may rob a bank but you’ll end up being caught. While if you do good things, they will last forever. Good things don’t give you negative consequences. Continuing to do good things will continue to give you success in life. If you continue to do bad things, then you’ll continue failing in life. You want to be successful you don't want to be a failure the rest of your life. That is why you need to make good decisions that will make your future get better everyday. If you choose to do what is wrong and you choose to do bad things you will always end up getting in serious trouble. 

Recreation Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: Recreational therapist plan, direct and coordinate reaction- based treatment programs with people with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses. These therapist use a variety of modalities, including arts and crafts; drama, music, and dance; sports and games; aquatics; and community outings to help maintain or improve a patients physical, social, and emotional well being. 

Salary: $45,890 per year and $22.06 per hour.

Education: Bachelor's degree, license, certification, and registrations.  

Demand for this profession: Compassion, leadership skills, listening skills, patience, resourcefulness, and speaking skills.

I think that I would like to be one. I would like to be one because I want to be a therapist when I grow up. That has always been my dream since I was a little girl. I love helping people that is why I wanna be a therapist. Therapist help any type of people out there who need help and that is my passion.  

Coast Guard

Military Medical Career Pathways

Duties and Responsibilities: The coast guard is the nation’s oldest continuous seagoing service with responsibilities including search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, aid to navigation, ice breaking, environmental protection, port security and military readiness.

Salary: $64,949 - $107,548


Education: The coast guard offers its members great opportunities to get a college education. SOC COAST is the Service members Opportunity Colleges (SOC) degree program for the Coast Guard, and it consist of college that offer associate and bachelor’s degree programs on or accessible to Navy and Marine installations worldwide.


Demand in this profession: Coast guard saw an 11 percent attrition rate in fiscal year 2014.

No I wouldn't like to be a coast guard. I wouldn't like to be one because you never know what you have to face everyday or what could happen to you.

What this quote means is that we should influence people to do good things. We can show kids that many other things can make you “popular”. Like having good grades, or being funny. They don’t have to smoke weed or start fights with others. Doing stuff like that is not cool. It messes up your brain and messes up your body. Dropping your grades is not cool either. You need good grades to get into a good college. A good college gives you a good career. We should let more people know that education is important. It's better for you to have good grades and be funny than not have good grades and all you wanna do is smoke. Popular doesn't have to mean that everyone needs to know you being popular is knowing what you did and what you learned from it.
