Psychologist



Duties and Responsibilities: a psychologist is someone who has a degree on the study of the brain in terms of human behavior and personality. Psychologist work in variety of settings with individual patients, business, hospitals, clinics, schools, prisons, communities, the government, the military and many others.   


Salary: $69,130 - $110,386


Education: although psychologist typically need a doctoral degree in psychology, a master’s degree is sufficient for some positions. Psychologist in independent practice also need a licensed.

Demand for this profession: employment of clinical, counseling, and school psychologists is projected to grow 20 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations. Greater demand for psychological services in schools, hospitals, mental health centers, and social services agencies should drive employment growth.




Reflection: I would like to be a psychologist. I would like to be a psychologist because it’s similar to being a therapist. This interest me because I love helping people.
