“True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”

By: Brigham Young

What this statement is trying to say is that, your future and what you think you have ahead of you could only be done if you always choose what’s right. Even if you do it alone you know that you will make it. For example, if you’re going to college but you don't know anybody and you think that hanging out with a group of people who drink is better it's wrong because you are not choosing the right and you are not going to have independence and freedom. Independence and freedom can only exist if you choose what’s right because your decisions will always affect your future or anything that you do that is bad will affect your future. For example, if you choose to stay alone and only have 2 friends in college and they don’t try to put you in drugs or into drinking then that is choosing the right and you have a future ahead of you.

Reflection: I would like to be a Geo-scientist because you go outdoors and try to find ancient things that are buried in the ground or under the sand. This interest me because you could find really old stuff under the ground like fossils, rocks, crystals etc. Then you could get to study what you find and you end up knowing what is the piece you found. When you find things buried they are worth so much money and you could even put it in a museum so people could know who found it and the history of the piece. You could read about the history of the piece and you could actually learn from it even if you only find a piece of a fossil or a rock. Things that you find buried are ancient stuff from thousand years ago.

"They're only truly great who are truly good."

By: George Chapman

Goodness = Greatness

What this quote means is that if you choose the right, you are great. When you choose the right people look up to you, they also admire you and what you do. An example of this quote is when someone does their homework. This person is truly great. They are choosing the right and doing what they're supposed to. Another example of someone who is deciding to do wrong is when they cheat. Cheating is wrong so that means they aren’t truly great. People wouldn’t look up or admire you for cheating because that is something wrong to do. That is why you always have to choose the right and not the wrong. You should always tell the truth that is why goodness equals greatness because you make a better future for yourself and the ones who look up to you and admire you.

“Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn’t. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don’t do it.”

By: George Mitchell

What this quote is saying is that cheating is wrong and it isn’t worth it during the long run. Once you get caught cheating it’s all over and everything you’ve gotten will soon be gone because that’ll be one of the consequences you’ll have to own up to. Your reputation will turn into something else, you won’t be known as what you were known before. It’s all a change and you’ll be the cheater. Things will turn out difficult for you. But that’s only if you choose to cheat. That is something wrong to do. Unlike choosing to do the right things and not cheat which one of the best options. You can have everything and you won’t change anything besides how you weren’t the one that was cheating. Nothing of your reputation will be ruined, it’ll remain the same as the intelligent person that you are. There wouldn’t be any consequences just rewards for not cheating. Choose to do the right things for yourself.

Reflection: I would like to be a psychologist. I would like to be a psychologist because it’s similar to being a therapist. This interest me because I love helping people.

“I won’t cheat”

By: Dale Murphy

What this means is the pretty obvious. Not cheating. If you cheat that’s wrong, so wrong. Like cheating on a test is bad. Just cheating to get it done or just because you don’t really want to work it out is all wrong. Getting caught doing that would be even worse, you get a nasty gut feeling when they catch you. And denying it will make especially worse. Unlike not cheating. Not cheating is very helpful. You don’t get caught doing anything bad, you already know what to do just on your own. It is better that way. You don’t feel anything when you’re doing something right. You just feel great about it like you just accomplished something impossible. But it really isn’t impossible. Choose the right for yourself so other around you know what is best.
Psychiatrist

Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical psychiatrists are responsible for analyzing a patient's mental health status and providing the necessary treatment. They may admit patients to hospitals, order tests, prescribe medication or recommend therapy. Additionally, they hold regular discussions with patients to diagnose mental disorders or assess a patient's response to treatment. Some clinical psychiatrists manage their own practices, while others, such as those who work in hospitals or clinics, may report to a supervisor.

Salary: $190,054 - $239,000

Education: complete a bachelor’s degree program, take the medical college admission test, complete an MD or DO degree program, complete a residency, get licensed and board certified, continue learning.

Demand for this profession: The majority of US states face a shortage of psychiatrists, while the need for specialists is growing. Health care providers and policymakers are working on ways to attract new talent, but many medical students are reluctant to take up the call.
